It is the richest golf tournament
which is exclusive to the Asian Tour with a US$2 million prize fund. The
Barclays Singapore Open 2007, which will be held from November 1-4, offers US$4
million in total prize money.
Remark: Sentosa, which means peace and tranquillity in Malay,
is a popular island resort in Singapore, visited by some five million people a
year. Attractions include a two-kilometre long sheltered beach, Fort Siloso, two
golf courses and two five-star hotels.
